Need help or advice?
All patients requiring a blood test will need to first speak with a doctor to agree which tests need to be carried out. Patients should request a telephone appointment with their Doctor.
The blood test clinics are held every morning Monday to Friday, to make an appointment please call in at Reception or telephone Stowhealth on 01449 776000.
If you are unable to attend the blood test clinic in exceptional circumstances it may possible to either book a Saturday am appointment with the Practice Nurse at Stowhealth or request for your blood test to be taken at either Ipswich or West Suffolk Hospital.
Stowhealth clinicians work on the principle that we will only contact you if the result is abnormal.
It may take up to two weeks for results to be confirmed from the laboratory.
All cervical smear results are sent by letter to your preferred address.
